Google knows it is my Birthday?

I was browsing the web while watching the Superbowl this evening (Fergie and Slash...are you kidding me!) and noticed that Google had a custom banner image for me as shown below.
I thought that was pretty spiffy and then remembered that if you click on these special images, you normally get the background or history behind the image. See what I discovered when I clicked the image after the click below.

I expected to view the history of birthdays or see a list of famous folks who share a birthday with me (Ronald Reagan being one). I was shocked to find that clicking on the page took me to my Google Profile page. That page too included some birthday decorations that included animated falling confetti and a Happy Birthday logo in the upper-right hand corner as shown in the image below (click for a larger view).


I’m not sure whether to be happy or scared about this. I’ll take happy as this was a nice little birthday surprise. Anyone else notice this one? If so, drop me a comment and let me know.
