Search feature now active on the blog

Doc’s Tech Notes is beginning to archive a bit of content and readers may be faced with some real issues trying to find an interesting or useful tip that they’ve read in the past. In order to help you find what you are looking for, I’ve hired a Tech Notes Genius. You simply step up to the bar, ask your question and the Genius provides you the answer.

Okay...so I really didn’t hire an Genius (none around here) and there isn’t a bar. How about a handy dandy Google Search box instead? If you look on the left side of the blog page, under the Follow Doc box (where you can subscribe to the RSS feed), you’ll find the new Search the Notes box. Simply insert your query and Google will present you with the information you are looking for. Go ahead. Visit http://www.docstechnotes.com now (unless you are reading post on the blog) and give it a shot. I recommend the following search strings:

“os x” or “linux”

I’m always looking for ways to make Doc’s Tech Notes better. Feel free to leave a comment and tell me what you would like to see. You can even recommend posts.
