I use Google services regularly and have been hacking around trying to sync my gMail, gCalendar and gContacts to my iPhone for quite some time. Now there's an official, Google sanctioned way. Check out the process after the clickity-click:
:: Open the Settings application on your device’s (iPhone/iPodTouch) home screen
:: Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars
:: Tap Add Account…
:: Select Microsoft Exchange
:: In the Email field, enter the name of the account (anything you’d like)
:: Leave the Domain field blank
:: Enter your full Google Account email address as the Username
:: Enter your Google Account password as the Password
:: Tap Next at the top of your screen and a new Server field will appear
:: Enter m.google.com
:: Press Next at the top of your screen again
:: Select the Google services you want to sync
:: Press Sync twice when warned about data loss and synchronization will begin automatically if you have Push enabled on your phone

ReplyDeleteThis worked with only slight variations with the iPad as well. Thanks!
